His first experience with making oud started in 1987 by working on the dimensions of an oud he took from İsmail Akdeniz, a famous violoncello player. He opened his first workshop in 2002 and started as a professional oud maker. In his oud designs, he brought the traditional tone and the necessities of professional performance together.
